After beating us earlier in the season when I was on holiday we just had to return the favour with a very aggressive and positive performance from all players including the subs.

27 January 2007 - League match

An awesome display of football today against one of the league leaders, Kieran Taylor hitting the post early on and Dean Williams slotting in the rebound for the first goal, Marchwiel equalised and Matty Jones determination partnering Dean upfront saw off the defence only for their keeper to save but Dean again picked up the scraps for Johnstown to go 2-1 in front, 2-2, 3-2 to them then a blasting penalty kick from Bradley Hughes to equalise, unfortunately in the dying minutes they got a late goal and this thriller of a match ended unfairly in my opinion 4-3 to Marchwiel.

24 Febuary 2007 - League match

Having not played a game for a few weeks the under 12's got off to a shaky start but after 10 minutes of time they were totally in control, although there were no goals in the first half the post and the bar was struck only for Borras to clear. The second half was a lot more clinical with Dean Williams netting 3 showing consistency and confidence in front of goal, Matty Jones brought down in penalty area handed Bradley Hughes the ammunition to finish off any threat from the opposition, the keeper palmed only for Brad to pick up the scraps and punish the Borras defence. Creative passing and mature play from Matthew Jones earned him Man of the Match.

Not much to say, we had all the possession, we never took our chances, they had two breaks in the 2nd half and won.

Saturday March 10th - Tony Collins Supplementary Cup 1st Round

Well organised, good discipline, what I like to see, everyone doing their job right. Some very good individual performances today especially from Bethan, George, Dean, Jamie and Vito first half, that carried on into the second very good defensively. Good through ball from Dean Williams for Matty Smith to clinically beat their keeper, Matty Jones hit the post only for Josh Millington to punish their defence with a great strike, Matty Jones drilled shot coming from right midfield finished the game off, well done to all players and let's all look forward to the next round.
