Good
result and a ok performance with Dean Williams opening the
scoring which was his 100th eleven a side goal which is a
fantastic achievement, the score stayed like that until midway
though the second half when Matt Smith punished the Rhosddu
defence and then scored again to make it three.
We have now gone seven games without conceding which is superb
at any level of football so well done boys and let’s

This
is one of the most memorable wins of them all, the work rate
and commitment was fantastic and football we played today
was superb, on what was a very poor pitch for passing, but
we stuck at it and got the rewards, as we go through to the
next round with enthusiasm.
The new year is going to be really exciting stuff with cup
and league still to play for. As for today the goal scorers
were Dean Williams with a hat trick and Matt Jones.
MOM was Matt Jones but the whole team deserved it today. |

was a fantastic performance from the whole team with some
really good solid football being played and a clean sheet
which now makes it five clean sheets out of six which is really
good and scoring goals for fun so things are looking good
going into the New Year with the optimism that we still win

| Fantastic
display with more and more positive things coming in this
game the game was won with fine passing and finishing from
the boys today goals coming from Dean (4) Kurt (4) Matt J,
Matt S. and fantastic solo run and finish from centre half
Ben Williams which was the highlight of the day by far but
this is good preparation for a big cup game against Brymbo
next week.

win with some great goals and strong defensive displays with
Jack Roberts playing a big part a centre half the commitment
was much better today and our football was much better things
are on the up at this moment in time with results like this
we will soon be at the top end of this league. Goalscorers

game which turned out to be a tricky tie which was very close
in the first half with both sides having chances the first
goal came from a strange decision where the referee awarded
Penyffordd a penalty which not even they shouted for but straight
back we came with a fantastic free kick from Matt Jones but
we conceded again from poor defending and then Dean was brought
down for a penalty which he converted himself and it stayed
like that until the brake. Second half was very poor by our
standards and all players and management were unhappy about
the performance but I thought the team effort was great so
not the best of days but there's always next week. |

we came up against a good young Borras side which are doing
well in their own league but they came up against a strong
and confident Johnstown side which went away with a clean
sheet and bagged five goals and the goals came from Alex Powell,
Matt Jones, Matt Smith, Dean Williams and Kurt Roberts. A
special mention about former Johnstown player Ryan Kershaw
who had a good game and caused some problems. MOM was Alex

tight affair were Johnstown were winning 1-0 thanks to Kurt
Roberts but Borras struck back to go 3-1 up and Johnstown
fought to get back in the game and Matt Jones drilled a penalty
into the top left but it was not enough to get back into the
game.

very entertaining game, had some great moments, a very tough
battle all over the pitch with Johnstown never relenting,
much improved defensively
today with a hard fought battle and a few bruises at the final
whistle.
JYFC scuffed a few chances including hitting the post just
before half time, looking more likely to score out of the
two teams, but credit to Ruthin
they really gave us a game today well done all.
Both Managers agreeing that referee Mark Hazeldine allowed
for great football to be played by both sides well done.
