This friendly match gave the manager chance to try some new players. He reported that he was pleased with the good performance of the team, and delighted with the 2 excellent goals. Natham Colaccio with a 55 yard effort and Josh W with a 35 yard free kick

Goalscorers Jack Griffiths, Saul Dobie (2) and a tremendous overhead kick from Ashley Colbert sealed the 3 points as Johnstown won 4-1. A fantastic performance and a perfect way to bounce back after last week's disappointment.

Manager Richard Daniels was disappointed with the result, but did mention that it was a brave performance with a special mention to captain Sam Roberts who kept trying throughout the game.

Llay United YFC 4 Johnstown Youth F.C. 3 (22.09.07)
With only 10 available players, credit goes out to each of them as they were all outstanding. Jack Griffiths scored 2 and Daniel Richards scored the other.
Under the difficult circumstances, manager Richard Daniels said he was really pleased with the performance.

Johnstown Youth F.C. 5 Garden Village 2 (15.09.07)
The Under 15's had an excellent start to the new season, helped by Jack Griffiths who scored a hatrick. Sam Roberts scored one and a goal direct from a corner by Billy Swarbrick on his debut, sealed the 3 points.
